Congress Defeats Arctic Drilling
On Dec. 21, the Senate defeated yet another attempt to allow oil drilling
in the coastal plain of the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge.

Hurricanes Trigger Even Worse Energy Policy
On Oct. 7, the House narrowly passed a bill with more than $3 billion in new oil industry subsidies sponsored by Rep. Joe Barton (Texas).
